Holding Up and Grab inputs while holding two different food items eats them as a meal, granting an additional food pip. Similarly to Hunter, the Gourmand can eat from the bodies of slain creatures, though this gives 1/2 the food pips it normally would (save for Centipedes, which all Slugcats except Saint can eat). 7 food pips are required to hibernate, while up to 4 may be stored for the next cycle.
